We have one volunteer who processes all applications, performs interviews, arranges flights and flight angels, and takes photos. She is incredibly busy, so it is important that before applying you have discussed this with your family and are ready to adopt. If you are leaving for vacation and won’t be available, please wait to apply.

Permanent Shelter Pups

Most of these are pups below will stay with us in sanctuary and enjoy the rest of their lives at the shelter. There are a few special cases we would consider letting go to Forever Fosters. Forever Fosters are loving foster home for our senior dogs, our bully breeds, and those dogs whose physical or medical issues may keep them from being formally adopted. We are looking for people who live independently in the Bay of Banderas and would like the companionship of a pet or those who just feel it is irresponsible to adopt at their time of life due to concern of what might happen to the dog if they happen to pass away. Under this program, ADNL will retain ownership, pay for medications, preventative care and vet visits.

Donations, along with a portion of the adoption fees from the dogs we rehome, help provide food and medical care for our permanent pups.
