Senior - We have another lovely senior lady to join our pack! Meet Valentina, she was found on the beach in Nuevo Nayarit. She had severe dermatitis from fleas. She is extremely active for her age. Dog social but likes to be the center of all human attention. She does like to run around free with the others but we do have to keep her kenneled often (with another dog). She would adjust quickly to a home and love her own family. She can be a possessive dog so she a shelter setting is not good for her. She wants all the attention and if she isn’t getting it or she is and another dog comes close, she will snap at them. She would be ok with another dog but probably better solo. Please keep in mind our shelter is extremely loud and active. Just because she is overwhelmed with us and can act out, it does not mean she should would in a home. Some dogs are not good in a shelter environment with so much excitement. She is definitely adoptable to the right home!
