Female - Mixed Breed

Age: December 2024 | Weight: 8.65kg(April ‘25)

We were contacted about Alice from a woman who rescued her. She found her in Las Juntas and thought maybe she was thrown out of or hit by a car because she could barely move and couldn’t walk at all. She was taken to our vet where she stayed a few days. We then took her to a surgeon in PV to have full body radiographs done to determine if she had any fractures. Thankfully, she did not! The surgeon said she could’ve been hit with something on her back or neck and had spinal shock, but he expected a full recovery. Within a few days after her xrays, she was quickly gaining strength. One week later she was walking and running around with all the other puppies in Puppyland! She is the sweetest little nugget. Of course we can’t predict her adult size at this point not knowing her parents. She has now started her vetting protocols. She’s great around all dogs and loves people. We estimate she will be ready for adoption around early-mid May. Stay tuned for more info!
