Sarge was tied to the shelter fence with 3 other dogs while the shelter was closed. He was healthy but was not neutered. He is now. He clearly came from a home and from someone who provided for him, but chose to abandon him. He gets along very well with the 3 dogs he came in with but he is choosy with other dogs. He can be a bit on the defense with some dogs. He would do best as an only dog or with female dogs where he can be an alpha. He is good with humans but we do not know if he is good with children so an adult only environment would be best. He needs an experienced adopter who knows how to work with reactive dogs. He deserves a happy home and someone who won’t leave him behind.
