🐾Our Loving Sanctuary Girl

Rosie has been with us since February 2021 and is now considered a long‑term resident due to her ongoing health needs, including seizures and anemia. Despite these challenges, Rosie is full of life and joy. She is a medium‑high energy dog who loves car rides — especially gazing out the window — and is wonderfully well‑mannered when out in public.

At the shelter, Rosie thrives in the free‑range area with other dogs, where she spends most of her day. She does best with non‑alpha companions and has bonded well in our pack. While she can be reactive at times and would require an experienced handler, Rosie is also one of the most loving dogs in our care. She adores attention, enjoys toys and chew bones to keep her busy, and is happiest when surrounded by people and dogs alike.

Because of her medical needs and temperament, Rosie will remain a cherished sanctuary dog, living out her life with us where she can be safe, loved, and supported. She is a reminder of the resilience and affection that senior and special‑needs dogs bring to the world.
