We saw a facebook post showing 3 dogs in Bucerias, who had been abandoned by their owners, who moved. A neighbor had been feeding them for a couple weeks but couldn’t continue. So, we picked them up! Roke(Row-key), as he was named by his owners, was quite sweet upon initially meeting him. But once he arrived to the shelter, he became quite nervous, which is not uncommon! It’s a loud, busy and often overwhelming place. By day three, he was much more relaxed and allowing us to pick him up. He is available individually or with either of the dogs he came in with; Paloma and Pam Pam. He definitely plays with them quite a bit. He will be ready for adoption extremely quickly. He was already neutered when we rescued him, has healthy bloodwork and now only needs vaccines. He will fit in cabin for travel. He is available now!! Anyone who adopts should know he will need some decompression time for sure. It’s a lot for these dogs to have a family abandon them, go to a busy shelter and then a new home. But, we know he will be a great dog for someone.
