Phoebe
Female-chi mix
Age: October 2023 | Weight: 8kg
Phoebe was spotted alone by someone in Mezcales. She was walking strangely and her skin looked so sore. Thankfully she was able to rescue her and take to our vet. She may have been hit by a car as she had spinal injury but it does not require surgery, only meds and rest. She has non-contagious mange, a skin infection and erlichea. The appearance of her right eye is likely from her overall state of health and the erlichea, so should improve as she does. Her coat has improved but you can see where she had issues. She should be ready for adoption by April or May 2025.
April 01, 2025: her skin infection has cleared and she had her right eye removed. She is one of the most loving dogs who’s also very social and playful. She is a funny girl who deserves and amazing home. We did try her in an in cabin bag but it’s too tight. So she would have to travel in a small crate. She is ready for adoption and we can’t wait for her to find her person.
