Oscar gets his name after where he was rescued. He was found at the dump in Puerto Vallarta. He had erlichea, TVT and horrible mange. The poor guy must’ve had the longest life ever. He successfully finished chemotherapy and is cancer free. His mange and erlichea are fully healed. He is a funny old man who’s really embracing all the love and fun at the shelter. He is kenneled with 2 other dogs of similar size and gets along well with all the other dogs when out free range. He doesn’t play with toys. Mostly he hangs out, enjoys napping and gets super excited for treats and people he knows well. He really is a sweet old man who deserves a comfortable home and the safety he lived so long without. Every day his funny personality comes out more and more. He is cautious with new people but when he knows he’s safe, he embraces the love.
