Gabbana was outside the shelter gates while we were having a spay/neuter clinic. Great with most other dogs and extremely nice and social with people. She most likely had a family, so not sure if she was lost or abandoned. She doesn’t always like small dogs. She is very smart and active so needs someone to who can give her things to do, besides daily exercise. At the shelter, she played nonstop with one of our big boys, Zeus. She flew to Toronto on November 15 then was driven to Montreal and has since been in the home of a prospective adopter. Unfortunately, as decided he’s not “equipped” to adopt a dog. She’d do best alone or with a male dog; no cats. We were put on a bit of a timeline and since we couldn’t rehome her in Montreal, one of our volunteers flew up to get her and bring her back. Everyone loves this sweet girl, especially her best shelter buddy Zeus.
