We were contacted about Dollar from a woman who took it upon herself to rescue him. In her neighborhood in Puerto Vallarta, she noticed a very emaciated dog locked inside what appeared to be an abandoned home. One day when passing by she saw the Green Patrol there investigating, but they can’t legally enter a home, even if nobody lives there. The following day she saw he was still there. She took it upon herself to climb the fence and rescue him, then contacting us for help. Besides coming to us emaciated from living alone in a locked up home, he is pretty healthy overall. He is putting on weight and doing great at the shelter with the other dogs. We expect for him to gain a little more weight but likely he will not be over 25lbs. He’s a great size and nice dog who deserves a home where he can be spoiled.
