Chip was one of 23 dogs seized from a home in San Vicente, Nayarit. The dogs were reported to us after a vet went to perform a sterilization clinic at the home. There were around 40 dogs there, in a small space. Most covered in fleas and the puppies very underweight and weak. They all had erlichea and were anemic but were under treatment with our vet. Growing and getting stronger by the day, they are ready for adoption.
Chip is considered special needs because he has renal failure. It can be managed with daily Ipakatine powder on his food and special renal failure food. He is happy and playful but on the thinner side because of this. His system is immunocompromised from being a very sick puppy before we got him
