Chai was rescued off the beach in Bucerias. While she looks and seems quite healthy, she was in heat and was being followed by a pack of 5 dogs. She was brought to us to be protected while we searched for owners. She was posted in several local animal groups on facebook. Nobody in the area where she was found had seen her before. We don’t know if she was recently abandoned or ran from home, especially if she was being chased.
She is a great dog and 100% she came from a home. She is not a street dog. She is happy, loving and very social. We can tell she’s had pups before. She also loves all the little puppies at the shelter so we know she was a good mama. We already had her spayed and will complete the remaining vetting protocols. Because nobody is claiming her, she is available for adoption.
