We were contacted about Beba from some residents of the Colibri neighborhood in Bucerias. She had been hanging around for at least three weeks and they were feeding her. Rather than having her sterilized or taking any action, nobody did a thing and she ended up pregnant. So, by the time we learned of her, she was too far along to terminate. She wasn’t with us too long before having 6 adorable puppies in our care, on December 23, 2024. She is still nursing of course.

She gets along with all dogs and is very sweet. She seems to be some sort of hound mix but of course we can’t be sure. She has pretty short legs and a long body. She can’t be spayed until the pups are at least 2.5 mths old, which will be around mid March. She should then be ready for adoption/travel by the end of March. She would make a really good companion, whether alone or with other dogs in the home. She can be applied for now.
