Yara was rescued from the streets near San Jose/San Vicente. As you can see in the pictures, she was quite underweight with a large, unusual tumor on her left side/neck area. Our vet biopsied it to know how to best treat. It came back as a round cell tumor, so she is receiving chemotherapy (vincristine) at this time. She was kenneled alone while receiving chemotherapy, as it’s a contagious type of tumor. She is doing really well and has a lot of energy. She has how finished her chemo and had surgery to remove the remaining section. She’s super happy, active girl. She is now out around all the other dogs and doing super well. She can be applied for at anytime!
